Science and faith are not contradictory

The exemplary elaborations on the individual scientific areas – archaeology, biology, geology, physics, chemistry, paleontology, geography etc. – have begun. In biology, there are arguments that partially support the evolutionist belief approach on a scientific basis (microevolution).

However, we are of the opinion that the millionfold visible “intelligent design” can be better justified by a creator. (Note: the representatives of “Intelligent Design” leave the question of the “designer” open and mostly only represent the demonstrably scientific-reductionist approach)

Visitors will definitely have many reasons to be amazed. Scientific arguments, e.g. ” the Cambrian explosion“, the “missing link“, the numbers of Ivor Panin and Fibonacci as well as micro-machines and the “problem of irreducible complexity” offer rich material for knowledge and discussion.

SPECIAL NOTE: In these exemplary representations, the type and form of visualization are currently in the foreground; we have been informed from a scientific perspective that the currently selected content still needs to be adjusted through various technical corrections, which will also be done.

Topics in the field of cultural history include:

  • Can we recognize God's actions in history based on the Bible?
  • Are the biblical historical accounts trustworthy?
  • According to F. A. Schaeffer, there is a connection between cultural foundations, peace, and the prosperity of the respective society - an interesting basis for discussion.
  • We humans act on the basis of the values we have received through upbringing and education and consider important. They are the support and treasure of each culture. Therefore, we believe it is particularly important to illuminate and discuss this formation of values.
  • Cultural identity is of great importance for every people; what are the most important characteristics of a culture?

NOTE: Not all exemplary illustrations have been developed for this area yet. The book by Dr. Axel Schwaiger ” History and God” covers a significant area of our conceptual goals. An exchange with Dr. Schwaiger revealed that we are allowed to quote his statements; a later direct collaboration is not excluded.

Event hall for approximately 250 people; an arena for smaller groups

The large arena is not yet depicted; the two images show current proposals for the smaller discussion area, which will be positioned in the Science and Culture exhibition space with approximately 20 – 30 seats. The large arena offers approximately 250 seats. This is an event space for lectures, panel discussions, performances
and musical presentations. The ARENA also provides space for discussions with controversial opinions or faith perspectives; it will be positioned on the lower level.

Themed panel discussions can be organized from this tension. The ARENA will be placed in the science and cultural history exhibition areas. The picture shows designs of how the ARENA can be integrated into the exhibition building. It is also planned to have a ” event area for approx. 200 people to integrate and rent out, as there is a clearly recognizable high demand for this from Christian organizations nationwide.

Area Special Exhibitions

This is an area of approximately 300 sqm; here additional topics will be highlighted, such as “Meaning of biblical colors”, “The work of Martin Luther”, “current topics related to the Bible”.

The area will be placed on the top floor; there are spaces available for multifunctional uses. An area for biblical art by unknown artists would also be conceivable.

Hotel, Restaurant and Accommodation

Physical well-being is also taken care of. Visitors will be able to check in at a hotel. For vacation apartments and group accommodation (school classes), the required building permits will still need to be applied for in due course. Currently, the development plan is being updated in the area of nature conservation; this already includes the possibility of hotel construction. The depicted ANCIENT-GREEK-CAFÉ is planned for the top floor of the Ark.
